Chances are, if you think you're good at art, you probably suffer from the Dunning Kruger effect.

I firmly believe people who think they're good are the worst at art, as they will never improve. It's the ones that realize they suck that will go far, because they'll always have a reason to improve.

I'm going to answer your other reply soon, but right now I thought I'd share this with you.

I should warn you it's a sad story that does not end happily.

So sad

Is there an argument coming with this link, or is it just because you think I'd enjoy it (I d, not in a good way, but in a I'm happy to see people trying to make a difference way). I just half expect there to be a point for you sending this to me to try and change my opinion on the matter :/

No, I already told you my opinion on the subject, I'm not going to hound you about it.

But you seemed interested in getting more information and I think this video is a good one to share, especially with someone with an open mind in this controversial debate.

Though I would be lying if I said this video does not support my position. I admit my bias in that sense.

Well, it doesn't really go against my own opinion. That's all. It's a point I've been repeatedly making. I agree with this, and always will. Extreme situations call for extreme actions.

Hey, I need your help to defend dA from a huge art thief!!!
He's right here: [link]
He doesn't see the wrong in reposting other's work and taking credit. I know that you're more interested in traced base thieves, but... I think this might be even worse or maybe the same..

Seriously, WTF? The fetus was pretty much dead.
*rage*

Yeah, this is exactly why talks of restricting abortion are dangerous for women's physical and mental well-being.

Even "well-intentioned" restrictions like the ones that ban abortions after the fetus becomes viable are potentially putting women's health at risk (like in the story I linked). Abortion needs to remain legal at all stages, without excuses or apologies.

I still disagree; however, that is certainly not what I'd consider 'viable.' If it is unlikely to survive after birth, it is not a viable fetus.
